Apprenticeships
The Directors of I C Electrical Ltd have a strong belief in the apprenticeship system and have demonstrated that belief by supporting the apprenticeship system for the past decade.
At present there are eleven apprentices at various stages of their apprenticeship, learning their craft with I.C. Electrical Ltd. The apprenticeship is completed over four years and involves practical and theory study at college's within our region, as well as on the job training within our own panel manufacturing facility or on client sites.
IC Electrical Ltd has been certified in recognition of the company's continued commitment to the training and skill development of their staff by offering Apprenticeships and has been certified by the Chairman of The National Apprenticeship Service.
Health and safety is a major part of any modern work environment, and placing young people in the workplace does require extra consideration and investment. An investment in time and money, the investment has proved worthwhile as our apprentice`s put in extra effort and gain recognition in regional apprenticeship awards at college and with our training partners JTL. In November 2011 one of our apprentices - Rob Jones reached the final 12 at the JTL Apprentice of the Year Awards - this is a fantastic achievement of which I.C.Electrical Ltd are very proud.
