2off Keg out feed lines and 1off Cask out feed line all including palletises to be re-positioned to allow room for the new Bottle and Can lines.
All cables to be disconnected were identified and all cores logged and stored in digital format.
Each line was moved individually with each job running consecutively.
Our experience in moving lines such as these allowed us to make some cost cutting and time saving initiatives, these including only disconnecting field items, all cables were pulled back to the control panel, where a special lifting frame was used to move the panels and cables in one.
The innovative cost savings presented were estimated at circa £10k.
The Electrical installation was completed on time despite the intensity of the works.
CDM was controlled by Moody systems, all site activity was risk assessed and co-ordinated with Moody, there was one reportable incident (mechanical contractor).
