Control Panel Design and Manufacture
I.C. Electrical Ltd purchased BPS Control panels in 2002. The purchase
was part of a move that took IC Electrical Ltd to its present premises at
Wetmore Road, Burton upon Trent. It was and still is our aim to continue
the excellent service that BPS gave and to expand the business into new
areas.
In 2005 I.C.Electrical Ltd increased the size of the panel shop work force,
and has implemented new design and working solutions. The result of this
is value added benefit to our valued existing and new customers alike. Due
to the increase in production during 2006 Dean Wright was recruited as Electrical
Engineer. Dean is a very competent and enthusiastic engineer with over 20
Years experience in control panel design and manufacture.
The Promis-e electrical design package is employed during the design process.
The package delivers full flexibility in our design, we can give our customers
fully integrated parts lists and layout drawings. All drawings can be exported
to AutoCAD and are issued in this format as well as PDF Fully integrated
cable schedules can also be produced using The Promis-e package.
The schedules once created are automatically updated if a control panel
modification is made, this ensures that all changes are tracked thus eliminating
mistakes.
I.C. Electrical Ltd can build wardrobe and cubicle type control panels and
MCC's in sheet steel and stainless steel. Panels range from single pushbutton
stations through to complete panel suites and process lines.
We can handle all types of site modifications from single circuits to complete
System upgrades, to include all design and engineering.
We are also experienced in PUWER upgrades of machines and have carried out
successful integration of relevant safety regulations to old and new machines
alike. The most notable being Project Merlin at Coors brewery Burton on
Trent where all the relocated machines in the Bottling hall and Canning
hall where risk assessed and relevant safety measure where implemented.
