I.C.Electrical Ltd were appointed by ABECE (Sweden) to help design and assist with the installation of new Curing Chambers and Tile loading/unloading system at Marley Eternit in Burton Upon Trent.
The plant consisted of new conveyors for transporting tiles from the WET product stage into the loaders and onto purpose made racks and then stacked and transported into the new Curing Chambers. This was then taken round in sequence into the Curing Chambers for Drying using a Pulley and Trolley System - using chain and specialist cabling as supplied by IGUS and installed by I.C.Electrical Ltd. Once out of the Curing Chambers the tiles were taken off the racks using the unloaders and then passed back onto the outgoing conveyors for palletising further down the conveyor system.
