I.C. Electrical Ltd is based in Burton-Upon-Trent and was formed in 1986 by Chris Emmerson and registered as a Limited Company in 1997.
For a period of three years the Company provided contract labour services to various electrical contractors.
On 1st October 2000, Tim McNeilly was appointed to the Board of Directors of I.C. Electrical Ltd, cementing a working relationship,
which had successfully operated for a period of five years. This marked a change in direction and subsequently the company expanded
its size and range of services. The company has grown in size and stature over the years and has a self financed annual turnover in
excess of Four million pounds.
The management and staff have gained experience in carrying out electrical installations in process and packaging applications within
the utilities and process Industry and have successfully provided these services both Nationally and Internationally.
As a medium sized Electrical Contractor, I.C. Electrical Ltd offers complete Electrical Engineering solutions from cost analysis
and budget preparation, through to in-house Electrical design including Control panel design, HV and LV Electrical system design,
communications system design, Automation system design, small power and lighting design.
Tenders are prepared and delivered, such that prospective customers are completely aware and assured of the solution offered.
I.C. Electrical Ltd has approved contractor status with NICEIC enabling our customers to be ensured that all works can at any time be
reviewed by an impartial assessor.
Our experience with process systems and technologies means that all staff are familiar with - along with others, Siemens and Allen Bradley
systems commonly used across the globe.
We can design, supply and install complete automation systems including Fibre and Ethernet networks, Profibus and Control net bus
systems as well as Asi Bus , DH+, Device Net, foundation field bus. Hard wired and Rio systems are still also commonly employed by
our Electrical Engineering personnel.
Electrical and Pneumatic Control panels are manufactured in our Burton upon Trent workshops, the panels can be entirely bespoke and
our Electrical Engineers are happy to advise on any form such as MCC panel (form 2-6), Wardrobe type MCC, PLC panel, Rio panel, HMi
panel, Pneumatic panels etc.
In support of our electrical services, we also employ tradesmen skilled in stainless steel fabrication and welding. Thus we are able
to produce in-house many of the items required for hygienic environments such as pipe droppers, motor isolator up-stands, equipment
support brackets, etc.
