Installation of Hygienic containment system all fabrication of stainless steel bracket work and dairy pipes was carried out in house.
The installation had to be completed in stages so manufacturing could begin before the entire installation was completed, all targets were met and product was available as per the program despite the civil contractors delaying the start of the installation by 6 weeks.
The I/O system contained over 1500 I/O and was dry tested within 5 working days, thus saving cost to the main contractor who had allowed twice as much time for this scope of works.
The Electrical installation was completed on time despite mechanical trade being some 4 weeks behind schedule.
CDM was controlled by FMA PLC, all site activity was risk assessed and co-ordinated with FMA ,there were no reportable incidents.
