Working as the chosen Electrical Contractor for Briggs Automation IC Electrical Ltd has completed the installation of the UK's First Cellulosic Ethanol Pre Demonstration Unit.
The Project was completed on time and on budget, 50km of cabling has been installed on the process plant with over 2000 automated valves and over 5000 IO points.
The electrical control system combines Profibus and Asi bus technology along with traditional hard wired IO. Further details can be found here.
