A Statement From I.C. Electrical Limited [COVID-19] Positive Tests
We continue to monitor closely the situation and are following all relevant NHS,Government advice and World Health Organisation guidelines. Our first priority is the health and wellbeing of all our staff, customers, suppliers and their families.
Today we have followed Governmental advice by contacting Public Health England due to the fact that there has been more than one positive test for COVID_19 amongst IC Electrical office personnel. Whilst we have no way of knowing whether the cases are connected, we do feel that it is prudent to advise you of this occurrence.
The contact tracing application has already advised a number of office personnel that they are at no increased risk of infection at this time.
We await specific advice from Public Health England and will notify all stakeholders when we receive such advice with regard to any further measures that we might have to take.
We continue with the implementation of social distancing measures along with increased sanitisation processes since the outbreak of the Pandemic and the use of PPE where applicable.
From 16:00 today I C Electrical Ltd office personnel will work from home with very limited exception. This will be reviewed in 7 days.
Over the next 72 Hours the offices will be re-sanitised as a precautionary measure.
We have a strong infrastructure and robust continuity procedures in place across the business allowing staff to work effectively from home using laptops, telephones, mobile phones, cloud applications and video conferencing software.
In respect of our ongoing and new works, we will be making every effort to service the needs of all projects and will keep in regular contact with our customers. Currently we can foresee no adverse effect to projects.
There will no doubt be upcoming challenges as we continue to review and adjust our approach accordingly. We are committed to remaining positive during this time and will work as flexibly as possible to meet the needs of our employees and customers.
